Up for sale is a fantastic 1990 Jackson Professional Fusion Pro, finished in the striking Transparent Amber. Hailing from Jackson's highly regarded Japanese-built Professional era, the Fusion Pro is a superb example of the company's late-'80s and early-'90s approach to the superstrat, combining sleek styling, fast playability, and serious performance credentials. This example is presented in Very Good condition, showing some honest cosmetic wear and tear consistent with its age and previous use, including various light marks and dings around the instrument. There has also been a very small repair around the headstock/neck area, which has been professionally carried out and is secure and stable. This is purely noted for full transparency and does not detract from the guitar's excellent playability or performance. The guitar has been significantly upgraded from its original specification, with all of the pickups and electronics replaced with EMG components. This gives the Fusion Pro a powerful, focused voice with the tight low-end response, clarity, output, and consistency that EMG electronics are renowned for. The original pickups and electronics are not included. The EMG setup makes this Jackson particularly well suited to high-gain applications, delivering tight and articulate rhythm tones alongside focused, singing lead sounds. It has plenty of authority for everything from classic hard rock and '80s metal through to heavier modern styles, while retaining enough clarity to handle more intricate playing. The Fusion Pro's compact, ergonomic body shape and fast-playing neck make it a wonderfully comfortable instrument, while the double-cutaway design provides excellent access to the upper reaches of the fingerboard. It's a guitar that was designed with performance in mind, and that remains immediately apparent nearly four decades later. The Transparent Amber finish is particularly attractive, giving the instrument a more understated look than some of the louder
