Seller's description

The Hughes & Kettner Trilogy is a high-powered, fully valve guitar amplifier head from the German manufacturer Hughes & Kettner, built as a flagship multi-channel tube amp designed for extreme versatility and stage use. It delivers 100 watts of output using a full tube power section, with a complex preamp architecture built around multiple 12AX7/ECC83 valves and EL34 power tubes depending on revision. The amp is housed in a visually distinctive chassis with a glass front panel and illuminated controls, reflecting the brand’s modern, design-focused approach to amplifier construction. The design is centred around three main channels (Clean, Crunch, Lead), each with its own voicing and gain structure, allowing it to cover a very wide tonal range from clean headroom sounds to high-gain metal tones. Channel switching and control flexibility are enhanced by MIDI integration, enabling programmable setups and external switching systems for live performance. The amplifier uses a detailed front panel layout with independent controls per channel, designed for direct access without menu navigation, while maintaining a studio-like routing flexibility for complex rigs. It is built as a professional-grade head intended for players who need multiple distinct amp tones in one unit, combining traditional valve response with programmable switching and modern control architecture for stage and studio environments
