Seller's description

Very Cool 2012 Hofner New Committee 125th Anniversary Model in Excellent Condition! Another very cool Hofner has landed in-store. Hӧfner's 125th anniversary came along in 2012, and with it a revival of one of Hӧfner’s most famous models, the New Committee! It was a totally German-made premium archtop produced in the same luxurious style of the larger 18” bodied Committee made for the Selmer London Company between 1963 and 1969. The main feature of the New Committee was, therefore, its 18” wide body made up of laminated flame maple with a laminated spruce body top. Its solid one-piece maple neck was capped with an ebony fingerboard, inlaid with mother-of-pearl strip-type fret markers. The lavish binding and purfling to the neck, body, and soundholes was of white pearloid, another feature taken from the old model, and the headstock was given the old Höfner bellflower design. Our '12 Hofner New Committee is in superb condition and has been beautifully well kept by its previous owner, who predominantly used it at home with light use. As you would expect with any pre-loved instrument, there are a few surface marks from use, but otherwise, this is a very clean example that would sit nicely in anyone's collection. Whether for live, studio, or home use, this Hofner will not disappoint! As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Hofner has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner! Our 2012 Hofner New Committee 125th Anniversary Model comes with its original Hofner Deluxe Hard Case! We are an appointment-only store. All instruments are handled by Motomusic employees only. We are always happy to consider quality part exchange instruments here. Fast WORLDWIDE Shipping Available! Please contact us for more details.
