Hiwatt's Filter Fuzz MkII chases the fuzz of the Grand Funk era — 1969-style aggression — and adds the two things vintage circuits lack. The Thick control is a bass knob inside the fuzz itself, so warm humbuckers can be tightened and thin single coils fattened before the clipping.
