Seller's description

The Guyatone MD3 Micro Digital Delay is a compact Japanese digital delay pedal from Guyatone’s Micro Effects Series. Despite its unusually small enclosure, the MD3 offers an extensive delay range and a straightforward control layout, making it suitable for everything from tight slapback echoes to spacious, long repeats and experimental self-oscillation. The MD3 provides three main controls for Direct Level, Delay Time and Feedback. A three-position S/M/L switch divides the available delay time into Short, Medium and Long ranges: approximately 20–160 ms, 80–650 ms and 330–2600 ms respectively. This gives the pedal a maximum delay time of 2.6 seconds. The repeats have the clear, defined character associated with digital delay, while higher Feedback settings can push the pedal into self-oscillation for more extreme effects. The pedal features a sturdy metal enclosure and standard mono input and output connections. It operates at 9V DC and has a specified current consumption of approximately 60 mA. Its combination of long delay times, compact dimensions and simple controls makes the MD3 particularly useful where pedalboard space is limited without sacrificing a broad range of delay sounds. This example was made in Japan and carries serial number 241.
