Reverty Used Guitars Japan — every instrument inspected, set up, and played before listing. 1970s Guyatone LG-480 Custom "Professional" Strat-Type Electric Guitar - Made in Japan (c.1974-1976) This is a genuine 1970s Guyatone LG-480 Custom, a Strat-type electric guitar from one of Japan's oldest electric guitar makers. It wears the "Guyatone PROFESSIONAL" headstock logo, and the original "MODEL LG-480 CUSTOM" model label is still on the back of the headstock. The LG-480 Custom is listed as a Stratocaster model in Guyatone's 1974 catalog. By the 1976 catalog, Guyatone's Strat-type line had moved to the LS series (LS-490 / LS-380), which puts this guitar in the mid-1970s, around 1974-1976. No serial number appears on the guitar, so the date is given as a range. The large 70s-style headstock, bullet truss rod nut and skunk-stripe maple neck give it plenty of vintage mojo.
