Seller's description

The G&L L-1505 in sunburst finish is a powerful and versatile 5-string bass guitar that combines classic aesthetics with modern innovation. Designed by Leo Fender’s renowned G&L team, the L-1505 brings exceptional build quality and tone shaping capabilities for bass players who demand both punch and clarity in extended-range instruments. This model features a solid ash body, delivering a rich, resonant sound with pronounced mids and a tight low-end response. The sunburst finish enhances the natural grain of the wood, providing a timeless and elegant appearance. Its bolt-on maple neck, paired with either a rosewood or maple fingerboard, offers a smooth and stable playing surface with 21 medium jumbo frets, ensuring excellent playability across all five strings. At the heart of the L-1505 is G&L’s Magnetic Field Design (MFD) humbucking pickup located in the sweet spot. This proprietary pickup delivers a wide range of tones, from warm, full-bodied bass to aggressive and articulate punch. The active/passive electronics and flexible 3-band EQ system allow for detailed tone shaping, enabling players to adapt to various genres, whether it’s funk, rock, jazz, or metal. A mini-toggle switch adds further control for series/parallel operation, giving even more tonal variety. Built with precision, the G&L L-1505 also boasts a high-mass Saddle-Lock bridge, which enhances sustain and improves string-to-body energy transfer. This thoughtful design ensures rock-solid intonation and exceptional resonance, providing a reliable and dynamic performance on stage or in the studio. With its stunning sunburst finish, robust construction, and versatile tonal options, the G&L L-1505 stands as a testament to Leo Fender’s legacy, offering bassists a modern 5-string instrument that retains the soul and character of a classic design.
