The Odyssey (OS) series is the very first original FGN guitar. It was designed with precision & detail stemming from a long history of guitar manufacturing experience. These guitars are relatively simple with a traditional taste yet sport very useful modern & practical features for today's musicians. FGN Guitars with Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.) for Exceptional Tone and Precision FGN guitars and basses feature the exclusive Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.), designed to enhance pitch accuracy and tonal clarity. By installing frets in a slightly curved shape, each string crosses the frets at a 90-degree angle, minimizing contact for precise articulation. This innovative design creates even scale lengths across all strings, delivering clear tones and rich harmonics that make both chords and single notes stand out. Premium Features for Enhanced Playability and Performance Compound Radius Fingerboard: The fingerboard’s compound radius is smaller and rounder near the nut for easier chord playing, transitioning to a flatter radius toward the neck for smooth, stress-free bending in higher registers. Quarter-Sawn Maple Neck with Luminous Side Dots: This neck is crafted from quarter-sawn maple for stability and resonance, and features luminous side dots for visibility on dark stages. Rolled Edge Fingerboard with Narrow-Tall Frets: FGN’s narrow-tall frets and Xpert fret edge treatment ensure comfortable playability and precision across the fretboard. Versatile Switching and High-Quality Components: With the 5-way "Double-tricky" switching system, FGN XPERT humbucker and OS-2 single-coil pickups, this guitar offers a wide tonal range from rich humbucking power to crisp single-coil clarity. The GOTOH® 510 tremolo bridge and Magnum Lock tuners provide stability and smooth operation. Specification Sheet Construction
