Reverty Used Guitars Japan — every instrument inspected, set up, and played before listing. Fernandes FRB-45 "Revolver Bass" - Left-Handed 4-String Bass, Made in Japan A Japanese-made Fernandes FRB-45 in the scarce left-handed configuration. Left-handed examples of Japanese-built basses from this era seldom come to market, and this one is a straightforward, honest player's instrument with genuine playwear. The FRB line was Fernandes' standard Japanese bass series, built around the classic P/J pickup layout. This example carries Gotoh tuners stamped MADE IN JAPAN, a four-saddle bridge stamped FERNANDES, and a Fernandes-stamped neck plate - all consistent with domestic Japanese production. == SPECIFICATIONS == - Model: FRB-45 (Fernandes bass series) - Orientation: Left-handed - Country of Origin: Japan - Color: White - Neck: Bolt-on, painted finish - Fingerboard: Rosewood with dot inlays - Pickups: P/J configuration (split-coil neck, single-coil bridge) - Controls: Three knobs - Bridge: Four-saddle, stamped "FERNANDES" - Tuners: Gotoh, stamped "MADE IN JAPAN" - Neck plate: Stamped "FERNANDES" - Weight: 3.25 kg == CONDITION == Overall: Good - Body: Dings, chips and scratches consistent with age and use - Neck: Straight - Frets: Approximately 60-70% remaining - Hardware: Tarnish on metal parts (vintage patina) - Note: The strap button on the upper horn is not fitted; the screw hole is open (see photos) All electronics function correctly and the bass plays as intended. Please review all photos carefully for the exact cosmetic condition. == INCLUDED == - Soft case (generic, non-original) == WHY THIS GUITAR == Left-handed Japanese-built basses are produced in far smaller numbers than right-handed models, and vintage-era examples rarely surface at all. At 3.25 kg this is a manageable weight for long sessions, and the P/J layout covers both the thick, focused split-coil voice and the brighter bridge single-coil tone. Honest playwear, a straight neck and correct Japa
