Seller's description

The Ernie Ball Music Man Reflex in Black Gloss is a high-end American-made guitar that blends modern ergonomics with classic tonal versatility. Its lightweight, chambered basswood body features a bound maple top and a mahogany tone block, giving it both resonance and structural stability. The high-gloss black finish highlights the body’s sculpted contours, while cream binding around the edges adds a subtle, elegant touch. A bolt-on neck and sculpted heel make reaching the upper frets smooth and comfortable, balancing aesthetics with playability. The neck is crafted from select maple and finished with gunstock oil and hand-rubbed wax for a natural, tactile feel. It carries a maple fingerboard with 22 frets, a compound radius, and medium-width, high-profile frets that allow effortless movement across chords and solos. A 25.5-inch scale provides balanced string tension, and Schaller M6-IND locking tuners ensure reliable tuning stability, making the guitar feel precise and responsive under the fingers. Electronics include two DiMarzio custom humbuckers housed in Music Man pickup rings, controlled by a 5-way lever selector and a series/parallel option for versatile wiring configurations. A master volume and tone knob, paired with a vintage-style Music Man tremolo with bent-steel saddles, provides plenty of tonal flexibility—from smooth, clean tones to punchy, driven sounds. Overall, the Reflex delivers a refined playing experience that combines comfort, clarity, and expressive sonic range in a visually striking package.
