Double the Gain - The EarthQuaker Devices Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod Low Signal Shredder Overdrive Pedal The Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod Low Signal Shredder embodies most of the awesome characteristics and features of the original Blumes Low Signal Shredder—which itself inherits the best, most awesome traits of the Plumes Small Signal Shredder. Gain: This controls the amount of drive Tone: More bass to the left, more middles in the middle and more treble to the right Level: This controls the output volume For the OG Blumes, EarthQuaker modified the Plumes circuit with double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end. At lower gain settings, you’ll get all of the crunchy tone you love about the original, but once you get above noon on the Gain control, that’s when you officially enter bass country—population: you (and probably anyone within reasonable earshot of you). Like the standard-issue Blumes, this pedal offers three different clipping options for your desired low-end, face-melting needs. Modes 1 and 2 (labeled “L” and “N” respectively) are identical to those found in the good old-fashioned Blumes, but Mode 3 (labeled “M”) is where this whole “MOSFET Mod” thing kicks into action, offering a commanding, tight and focused overdrive that’s rich in harmonics and delivers an overdriven bite in line with the sound of a modern high gain tube amp. EarthQuaker encourages you to take this miniaturized magical box and unleash the thunder! Make your bandmates take notice. Unbury yourself from beneath those obnoxious, high-pitched guitars, crashing cymbals, and your singer’s overused falsetto. It’s your time to shine! Let the world know you’ve arrived by sending a message via EarthQuaking, saturated amplitude! Each Blumes Jr MOSFET Mod pedal is forged in the deepest, lowest caverns of Akron, Ohio, USA. SPECIFICATIONS Effect Type: Overdrive Clipping Modes (3-Way Toggle) L: Symmetrical LED clipping - Crunchy, compressed, focused, and articulate N: No clipp
