Seller's description

The Dunlop GCB-95 Crybaby is one of the most iconic wah pedals ever made, shaping the sound of countless classic rock, funk, and blues recordings. This particular unit, serial number AA-01S169, is a highly desirable pre-CE version, made in the USA before regulatory changes affected production. Known for its authentic vintage tone and robust build quality, this Crybaby captures the raw, vocal-like sweep that made the wah pedal famous. The GCB-95 offers a pronounced midrange peak and a smooth sweep from bass-heavy lows to bright, singing highs. Perfect for solos, rhythmic textures, and expressive leads, the pedal responds beautifully to dynamic playing and varying picking techniques. Its straightforward operation, sturdy metal chassis, and traditional footswitch design have made it a staple on pedalboards for decades. USA-made pre-CE Crybabys like this one are especially valued for their superior component quality and rich, organic tone, distinguishing them from many modern mass-produced versions. Fully tested and in excellent working condition. A must-have for collectors and players seeking authentic classic wah sounds with original American craftsmanship.
