From the listing
The Starplayer TV Phonic takes Duesenberg’s flagship semi-hollow and gives it a more distinctive look. It has gold Phonico pickup covers, gold hardware, a Radiator Tremola and pearloid binding. The high-gloss Venetian White finish carries through to a matching headstock. Underneath the styling it’s a proper Starplayer TV, with the same construction, neck and pickups, plus a more flexible rotary pickup selector. Construction The Phonic is a semi-hollow with a centre sustain block, so it has an open, airy hollow-body response while holding up well against feedback at volume. It has an arched laminated spruce top, a flat laminated maple back and bent maple sides. The body is bound in pearloid with 5-layer purfling, and there’s a single f-hole. The set neck is a single piece of maple with a Medium D profile. The Indian rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius, 22 jumbo frets and Duesenberg’s Wing inlays. The 25.5" scale gives the guitar a firm feel, a tight low end and a clear, snappy attack. Every Duesenberg is Plek processed, then hand-finished and set up by one of their luthiers in Hannover. The luthier also signs the inside of the instrument. Pickups and Wiring The Phonic uses Duesenberg’s most popular pickup pairing, a Domino P90 in the neck and a GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge, both under gold Phonico covers. A 4-way rotary selector on the upper bout replaces the usual toggle switch. It gives you each pickup on its own, plus two combined settings. One runs both pickups fully open. The other filters some frequencies for a more focused, characterful sound. Volume and tone controls handle the rest. Hardware The Radiator Tremola is a development of Duesenberg’s Diamond Deluxe vibrato. It runs on heavy-duty needle and nylon bearings for smooth, responsive action and stable tuning. The arm rotates a full 360° and can be set to your preferred angle and length. Restringing is simple: the strings feed through the bar under the arm axis and straight up to the tune
