Seller's description

The Dr. Z Route 66 Jr is here! The legendary Route 66 amp returns in a modern, stage-ready package. Born from decades of player feedback, the Route 66 Jr. captures the iconic "milkshake thick" tone of its predecessor in a compact 12-watt format that respects venue volume limits. Built on the same revered EF-86 pentode preamp that defined Dr. Z's reputation, this Class A single-ended design pairs a Genalex Gold Lion KT66 power tube with three selectable wattage settings—12, 6, and 3 watts—giving you flexibility from the stage to the studio to home practice. A first for the EF-86 line, the buffered effects loop keeps your delays and modulation pristine. Simple controls. Legendary tone. Finally scaled for today's world. Specs: Power Output: 12 Watts (scalable to 6 or 3) Output Tubes: 1 x KT66 Preamp Tubes: 1 x EF86, 1 x 12AX7 Rectifier: 1 x 5AR4 Controls: Volume, Treble, Bass, Wattage Speaker: 12" Eminence Platinum 40 Alnico 8 ohm outpot, Buffered Effects Loop External Speaker Out Dimensions: 19" W x 9 3/4" H x 10 5/8" D Weight: 42 lbs
