Seller's description

A L P E N F L A U MInspired by classic Big Muff architecture and voiced by ear for exceptional clarity, dynamics, and harmonic depth. At its heart lies a hybrid Silicon & Germanium topology—combining the tight gain structure and punch of silicon with the soft, organic saturation of NOS germanium.A Sustain control replaces the traditional volume control, giving you direct command over the character and intensity of the fuzz—from restrained, gritty textures to a raw, saturated wall of sound.A three-position voicing switch lets you move from focused, Triangle-inspired bite to the dense, saturated bloom of a Ram’s Head. A tuned midrange recovery stage keeps the fuzz aggressive and unfiltered while giving it enough presence to cut through a live mix.Designed to work exceptionally well with humbuckers, the Alpenflaum retains clarity and definition even with high-output pickups. Its wide, raw low-end response also makes it equally at home with bass guitar, delivering thick harmonic saturation without losing the character of the instrument.Raw. Dynamic. Unpolished. Built to hit the amplifier hard.Hand-built in Salzburg, Austria.Released in small, bench-tested allocations.
