From the listing
The DIY Signal Attenuator Volume Pedal is a compact passive volume-control pedal designed for instant switching between two preset output levels. Instead of using a treadle, the desired reduced volume is set in advance, allowing the pedal to function as a simple footswitchable volume cut. It is ideal for situations where you need to become quieter immediately, for example when moving from a lead part to rhythm playing. It can also be used in reverse: set your standard playing level lower with the pedal engaged, then switch the pedal off to return to your full guitar output, assuming the guitar’s volume control is set to maximum. Its passive design requires no power supply and the mini enclosure takes up very little space on a pedalboard. This straightforward attenuator is a practical solution for players who need two quickly accessible volume levels without using a conventional expression-style volume pedal.
