Seller's description

The DigiTech FreqOut is a compact, innovative pedal that emulates natural guitar feedback without the need for high volume or proximity to an amplifier. Utilising pitch detection and feedback-suppression technology in reverse, it allows players to achieve controlled feedback effects at any volume level, making it suitable for both live performances and studio sessions. The pedal offers seven selectable harmonic types, including Sub, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, Natural Low, and Natural High, providing a range of tonal possibilities. Its intuitive controls for onset delay and gain enable users to fine-tune the feedback's response and intensity. Designed with versatility in mind, the FreqOut features both momentary and latching modes, allowing for dynamic or sustained feedback effects based on the player's preference. The Dry Defeat function offers the option to mute the dry signal, isolating the feedback effect for more experimental sounds. True bypass circuitry ensures that the pedal does not colour the tone when disengaged. Its compact size and robust construction make it a practical addition to any pedalboard setup. The FreqOut has been praised for its ability to replicate the organic characteristics of natural amplifier feedback, offering guitarists a new level of expressive control. By providing the means to produce feedback effects without excessive volume, it opens up creative possibilities in environments where loud playing is not feasible. Whether used for subtle enhancements or dramatic sonic textures, the DigiTech FreqOut stands out as a unique tool for expanding a guitarist's tonal palette.
