Seller's description

The Darkglass Vintage Ultra V2 is a bass preamp and overdrive pedal that blends vintage-style warmth with modern control and connectivity. It centres around a detailed four-band EQ with selectable mid frequencies, alongside controls for Master, Blend, Level, and Drive, giving precise command over both clean and overdriven signals. Additional Attack and Grunt switches let you shape how the pedal responds in the high and low end before distortion is applied, making it easy to dial in anything from subtle warmth to full, tube-like saturation. What sets the V2 version apart is its expanded functionality for direct use. It includes a balanced XLR output with selectable cabinet simulation, a headphone output with cab emulation for silent practice, and an aux input for playing along to backing tracks. Through the micro-USB connection, users can load custom cabinet impulse responses, allowing for tailored tones when running straight into a PA or recording interface without the need for an amp. Built in a compact, rugged enclosure, it’s designed for pedalboard integration while offering the flexibility of a full preamp system. This particular unit carries an added personal touch with a signature from Amos Williams of Tesseract on the back, giving it a unique distinction. Overall, the Vintage Ultra V2 functions as both a tone-shaping hub and a drive pedal, capable of delivering rich, harmonically detailed bass sounds in both live and studio environments.
