Nowadays, they make guitars of all shapes and sizes; all built with the same exceptional detail, mastery and flair that put them on the map. Brandon Niederauer's signature Premier Atlantic is no exception. Niederauer is one of the most promising young guitar talents in the industry. His signature D'Angelico features dual Duncan-designed humbuckers, slick satin Chrome hardware and a vibrant contrasting finish - rock 'n' roll indeed. Body & Neck This single-cut instrument offers solid humbucking tones. The body is basswood, offering a simple balanced tone that’s the perfect platform for fat pickups. 3-ply binding rounds it off with a luxurious old-school look. The neck uses a Maple Scarf construction with a set-thru joint. This helps counter the subtle Basswood/humbucker combination with extra top-end brightness, great for lead playing clarity. Hardware & Electronics As mentioned before, twin Duncan-designed humbuckers deliver a warm but gutsy snarl. But thanks to the tonewood choices and coil-tap controls, the Premier Atlantic is no one-trick pony. It’ll clean up beautifully, just as suited to jazz as it is to anthemic rock.
