This second hand electric guitar is in great condition The Cort G280 Select looks boutique, feels premium, and delivers a level of versatility that rivals instruments costing two or three times as much. The Trans Chameleon finish in particular gives it a custom‑shop vibe, shifting colours under light and making it stand out without being gaudy. Build, Finish & Feel The Trans Chameleon top is stunning—colour‑shifting, deep, and glossy. Flamed maple veneer adds that boutique aesthetic without inflating the price. Ergonomic body contours make it extremely comfortable for long sessions. Roasted maple neck and fretboard feel smooth, stable, and fast. The neck profile is a modern C—comfortable, not too thin, not too chunky. Hardware & Features Cort CFA-III tremolo: stable, smooth, and surprisingly high‑quality. Staggered locking tuners: great tuning stability. Compound radius fretboard (12"–15.75"): ideal for both chords and bends. Stainless steel frets: long‑lasting, slick, and premium at this price. Pickups & Tone The G280 Select uses Cort’s Voiced Tone VTS-63 single coils and VTH-77 humbucker, and they’re genuinely impressive. Neck & Middle Single Coil Bright but not harsh. Clear, glassy tones reminiscent of a modern Strat. Excellent for funk, blues, indie, and clean ambient playing. Bridge Humbucker Punchy, articulate, and tight. Handles rock and heavier styles with ease. Not muddy, not overly hot—just balanced and musical. Coil‑Split Very usable split tones. Great for jangly rhythm parts or more vintage‑leaning sounds. Playability This is where the G280 Select really shines. The roasted maple neck feels broken‑in right out of the box. Stainless frets make bends effortless. The compound radius keeps chords comfy and leads smooth. The tremolo is stable enough for expressive vibrato and light divebombs. Strengths Stunning Trans Chameleon finish. Versatile HSS pickup configuration. Roasted maple neck + stainless frets = premium feel
