Seller's description

Mid-Century Soul. Modern Refinement. Meet the Collings Ladybird in Satin Teal, a fully-hollow electric with a character all its own. Loose, buoyant, and full of 1960s single-cut spirit, it's the guitar for players who want something a little different from the usual lineup. Feel: At 24 1/8″, the Ladybird has the shortest scale length of any electric Collings makes. The slinkier feel makes it notably expressive under the fingers. Sound: This one is loaded with Righteous Sound Cathedral pickups, voiced specifically for the Ladybird. They go from a whisper to a howl at the player's command, and they keep the note clarity Collings is known for. It ships with D'Addario flat wound .011s, which add a smooth, slightly muted warmth in the manner of a classic archtop. Look: This Ladybird wears aSatin Teal finish that puts a fresh, cool spin on its vintage shape. The color is set off by leopard tortoise binding, and matching tortoise inlays sit right in the pickups. A rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and Davies Radio knobs complete the retro look. The Bottom Line: The Ladybird in Satin Teal delivers the unmistakable vibe of a true hollow-body electric, built with the precision and finesse of Collings craftsmanship. It's vintage tone and timeless style, with a bold streak. Stop by Lark Guitars to see and play this Satin Teal Ladybird in person.
