Seller's description

Our C-00 is a soulful, vintage-inspired 14-fret acoustic guitar that brings a raw, period-correct character to the boutique C10 lineup. Influenced by the iconic 00 models of the early to mid-1930s, the C-00 is engineered for players who want a honky, punchy midrange and the reduced string tension of a short-scale instrument. Unlike the polished and shimmery voice typical of standard Collings acoustics, the C-00 provides a drier, more fundamental tone. With its hand-voiced Sitka spruce top and solid Honduran mahogany back and sides, it delivers a woody thump and exceptional note separation. From its closed-in sunburst to its rosewood fingerboard and cut-through saddle, every detail is designed to evoke the grit and charm of a pre-war classic. C-00: The most vintage-inspired and raw in the lineup. The use of a rosewood fingerboard and bridge combined with specific bracing creates a less refined, mid-heavy voice that excels at old-time blues and aggressive fingerstyle. Why choose the C-00? If you want the mojo of a 1930s mail-order classic but with the world-class intonation and build quality of a Collings, the C-00 is the choice.
