Seller's description

The Boss RBF-10 Flanger is a vintage Japanese-made flanger from the mid-1980s Micro Rack Series. Its compact half-rack format combines classic analog flanging with detailed control over the modulation, making it suitable for guitar, keyboards, synthesizers, and studio processing. The RBF-10 provides Manual, Rate, and Depth controls for shaping the sweep, together with a Feedback control that works in both normal and inverted phase. This allows sounds ranging from gentle, spacious modulation to deep, resonant jet-style flanging. A Balance control adjusts the mix between the direct and processed signals, while the selectable input level makes the unit suitable for different signal sources. The RBF-10 uses an analog BBD delay circuit with a delay-time range of approximately 0.4 to 3.2 ms. Produced in Japan around 1985–1986, the RBF-10 is part of Boss's distinctive Micro Rack Series and offers the character and hands-on control associated with vintage analog modulation equipment in a compact rack-format design.
