Seller's description

The Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion (Silver Label, Made in Taiwan) is a high-gain powerhouse designed to deliver massive distortion tones ideal for modern rock and metal. With its aggressive low-end response and extended sustain, the MD-2 pushes beyond traditional distortion pedals to create saturated, crushing tones that stay defined even at extreme gain levels. The pedal features five controls: Level, Tone, Bottom, Dist, and Gain Boost. The Dist knob sets the main distortion amount, while Gain Boost adds extra saturation and sustain for solos or heavier riffs. The Bottom control enhances low frequencies, giving guitars a powerful, thick foundation that’s especially suited for drop tunings and extended-range instruments. Tone adjusts the overall brightness and character, and Level sets the output volume. Built in Taiwan to Boss’s high standards, the MD-2 features rugged metal construction, true road reliability, and consistent tone performance. Whether used with solid-state or tube amplifiers, it delivers tight, articulate distortion with plenty of punch and clarity. Perfect for players seeking heavy, modern gain without losing note definition.
