Seller's description

The Boss HR-2 Harmonist is a distinctive digital harmony effects pedal designed to transform single-note guitar passages into rich, multi-part harmonies. Featuring intelligent pitch-shifting technology, two independently adjustable harmony voices and selectable musical keys, the HR-2 allows guitarists to create expressive harmonised lead lines, layered melodies and dramatic pitch effects without needing additional musicians. Originally introduced during the 1990s, the Boss HR-2 became an important part of the company's early intelligent harmoniser range. Unlike conventional pitch shifters that simply transpose notes by a fixed interval, the HR-2 can generate harmonies according to the selected musical key, allowing more natural-sounding melodic arrangements. With independent Voice A and Voice B controls, dedicated harmony level adjustments and a choice of musical intervals, the HR-2 provides considerable creative flexibility. It can produce everything from subtle detuned textures and octave effects to harmonised guitar solos and three-part melodic arrangements. This particular Boss HR-2 Harmonist is presented in Fair Pre-Owned Condition and is supplied without a power supply. The pedal can operate using a standard 9V battery or a compatible Boss PSA-series 9V DC adapter. For guitarists looking for a second-hand Boss HR-2, this discontinued harmoniser offers an opportunity to explore a distinctive chapter in Boss effects history.
