Seller's description

The Bad Cat Era 30 Head marks the return of legendary amp designer Mark Sampson, bringing his unmistakable EL84-driven circuit back to life with a host of modern refinements. Built by hand in Costa Mesa, California using true point-to-point construction, the Era 30 delivers everything players love about classic British-inspired amps—rich harmonic complexity, exceptional touch sensitivity, and shimmering cleans that effortlessly transition into dynamic, articulate overdrive.  Its dual-channel design pairs an EF86 front end with a 12AX7 channel, each featuring independent gain and volume controls for everything from bold, piano-like cleans to thick, harmonically rich crunch. Players can switch between channels or blend them together for an even broader tonal palette, while the transparent post-phase inverter master volume makes it easy to achieve inspiring tones at virtually any volume. Add in a buffered effects loop, premium Pacific transformers, and Bad Cat's meticulous hand-built craftsmanship, and the Era 30 stands as one of the most expressive boutique amplifiers available today.
