Seller's description

The Arion MTE-1 Tubulator Overdrive is a vintage Japanese overdrive pedal known for its smooth, tube-like response and warm, musical character. Designed to emulate the natural breakup of a driven valve amplifier, the Tubulator delivers a dynamic overdrive that responds well to playing nuances and guitar volume changes. It is especially well suited for blues, classic rock, and expressive lead playing where touch sensitivity and clarity are essential. The control layout is simple and effective, featuring Level, Drive, and Tone controls. The Drive knob moves from subtle edge-of-breakup tones to richer, more saturated overdrive, while the Tone control allows you to shape the brightness without becoming harsh. The Level control provides ample output, making the MTE-1 equally useful as a standalone overdrive or as a boost pushing an already overdriven amplifier. Produced in Japan during Arion’s well-regarded vintage era, the MTE-1 has earned a reputation for offering impressive sound quality in a compact and lightweight enclosure. This specific unit, serial number 295958, is supplied with the original box, adding to its appeal for collectors. The Tubulator Overdrive remains a sought-after pedal for players who appreciate classic overdrive tones with authentic vintage character.
