Seller's description

The Aria ADD-1 Digital Delay is a vintage Made in Japan compact delay pedal from the early era of digital effects. Designed to deliver clear and precise repeats while maintaining an intuitive analog-style control layout, the ADD-1 became a practical alternative to larger rack delay units of its time. The pedal offers straightforward controls for delay time, repeat intensity, and effect level, making it suitable for subtle ambience, slapback echo, rhythmic repeats, and atmospheric lead sounds. Its character combines the clean articulation typical of early digital delays with a slightly warm and textured response that works especially well with vintage amplifiers and classic guitar tones. Built in Japan during the peak period of Japanese compact pedal manufacturing, the ADD-1 is appreciated for its robust construction, simple usability, and distinctive late-1970s to early-1980s digital delay character.
