Seller's description

A stunning five string from German builder, Sandberg! Handcrafted in Germany, Sandberg basses have ended up in the hands of renowned players worldwide. This particular example is the California VM5, an outstanding 5-string option with plenty of tonal flexibility and exceptional looks to boot. This example features an ash body with bolt-on neck, and what appears to be a special order ebony fretboard as opposed to the typical pau ferro found on these models. Another non-standard feature on this example is a reverse matching headstock. Configured with a split-coil and humbucker, this example offers up a 2-band active/passive circuit, with a passive tone control. An exceptional player with a huge sound! Cosmetic condition is very good, with only light signs of play wear visible throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a gig bag.
