Seller's description

Kramer Gorky Park guitar with incredibly rare original case and case candy! Shaped after the Russian balalaika, this was a promotional guitar given only to dealers. Made in Korea, it commemorates Kramer's involvement with the Russian rock band "Gorky Park" and the musical movement of Russia opening up to rock and roll and allowing American Rock bands to play in Russia, which by the way was quite a big deal at the time. Many bands like Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Skid Row and of course Gorky Park came together for what was called the "War in Russia against Drug and Alcohol Abuse", where Kramer supplied the "Weapons", i.e., the guitars (ha-ha). This guitar comes with the original case (Made in Canada) and all the original case candy including, VHS Tape of the story around the guitar, Certificate of Authenticity, Warranty card, Message From the President, Original 1/4 Cord (still in the original wrapper), and tremolo arm. If you look at the pics, the tremolo cover still has the original protective plastic backing on it. The case also still has the styrofoam shipping piece for added neck support. Most of these guitars spent their early lives hanging up in dealerships and I'm gathering that's where the nicks and bruises on this one came from. Noting that they are only on the back and bottom edges. Truly a cool piece of Rock N' Roll history!
