Reverty Used Guitars Japan — every instrument inspected, set up, and played before listing. 1977 Aria Pro II ST-600 "Stagecaster" - Matsumoku-Built MIJ Vintage A genuine piece of 1970s Japanese guitar history: the Aria Pro II ST-600 Stagecaster, built at the legendary Matsumoku factory in Matsumoto, Nagano. The ST-600 sat at the top of the Stagecaster line, and this example wears a warm natural finish over a maple neck and maple fingerboard. Aria adopted the "Aria Pro II" name in late 1975, and the instruments were built by Matsumoku until the factory closed its doors in February 1987. That finite production window is a large part of why Matsumoku-era instruments are increasingly sought after by players and collectors outside Japan.
