Seller's description

The vintage 1970s El Maya Neck Thru Stratocaster, made in Japan, is a rare and striking example of high craftsmanship from a golden era of Japanese guitar manufacturing. With its neck-through-body construction, this instrument offers exceptional sustain, resonance, and stability, setting it apart from typical bolt-on Strat-style guitars. The body contours are comfortably sculpted, echoing the classic Stratocaster silhouette while delivering a unique tonal and tactile experience that feels both vintage and refined. Built with attention to detail, this El Maya features quality tonewoods and hardware that reflect the brand’s dedication to producing professional-grade instruments. The neck-through design enhances tonal transfer between neck and body, resulting in a tighter low end and more articulate response across the frequency range. The electronics are typically vintage-voiced, with single-coil pickups that deliver clear, expressive tones with plenty of chime, making it ideal for classic rock, blues, and funk tones. This guitar stands as a testament to the exceptional quality of Japanese-made instruments during the 1970s, offering players a vintage tone and feel that’s increasingly hard to find. Whether used as a collectible, a studio secret weapon, or a stage-ready workhorse, the El Maya Neck Thru Stratocaster delivers character, craftsmanship, and a unique sonic identity that reflects its era while holding its own in any modern context.
