Seller's description

A British valve combo from Watkins' later period, the Dominator MkII is a compact and straightforward amplifier with plenty of character. Built around a pair of EL84 output valves, it delivers the familiar midrange bite associated with British valve amplification, with enough drive on tap for classic rock and blues tones. The MkII features a simple control layout with Volume, Tone and Tremolo controls, keeping the amplifier easy to operate while retaining the distinctive Watkins character. The tremolo is foot switchable, however the original footswitch is unfortunately missing . With its compact format and relatively low-powered valve output, the Dominator is particularly well suited to recording, home use and smaller venues where it can be pushed without excessive volume. Presented in good condition, with signs of use consistent with its age. A genuine British-made valve amplifier from the early 1970s, offering plenty of character in a compact and uncomplicated package.
