Seller's description

A funky old acoustic! A bit of a head scratcher, we've seen mention of these Sampson-branded acoustic guitars having been made in Chicago, or right here in Melbourne, Australia (the latter probably more likely). From what we can gather, it looks to be approximately from the 1950s based off its hardware. Looks to be a plywood construction, with a big chunky neck with no truss rod. Boxy and honky are the two words that seem to describe the sound of this cool little acoustic! A Victory sound hole pickup has been added which is always a tonne of fun. Come check it out! Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing signs of finish wear in addition to dings, scratches, and scuffs all throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium-high action. Includes a black hardcase.
