Seller's description

Chris Buck signature design The RS02CB was developed directly with Chris Buck to recreate the instrument that has shaped his sound for years. Every element reflects his preferences, from the pickup voicing to the bridge style and aesthetic details. Buck's playing is known for its expressive phrasing and touch sensitivity, and this guitar is designed to respond naturally to those nuances. The result is an instrument that captures the feel of his personal Revstar while offering the reliability and precision expected from a modern Yamaha guitar. Custom P90-style pickups At the heart of the RS02CB is a pair of specially voiced P90-style pickups designed with Chris Buck's tonal preferences in mind. These pickups are tuned for slightly lower output, allowing greater clarity and responsiveness at lower volumes while still delivering strong, open tones when pushed. The design emphasises dynamic response and articulation, creating a direct connection between the guitar's acoustic resonance and its amplified sound. Chambered body with acoustic design The RS02CB features a chambered construction developed through Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process. By strategically shaping the internal chambers, Yamaha enhances the guitar's natural resonance while also reducing weight. The combination of maple and mahogany contributes to a balanced tonal response with warmth, clarity, and sustain. A carbon-reinforced three-piece mahogany neck further improves stability, ensuring the instrument remains reliable and consistent even under demanding stage conditions. Wraparound bridge and distinctive styling A TonePros AVT2 wraparound bridge provides a direct string-to-body connection that enhances sustain and resonance. This design mirrors the bridge used on Chris Buck's own instrument and contributes to the organic response that defines his sound. Visually, the RS02CB stands out with its Honey Gold finish, amber hat knobs, and stylish inlays. Chris Buck’s signature on the back of the headst
