Seller's description

Yamaha RGZ III is a made in japan late 80's shred machine. All original parts, except the tremolo arm and volume/tone knobs. Catalog (see last picture) and serial 805399 points this guitar to be made in 1988. There's some online hearsay that say these things are made by Fujigen (the same factory that made Ibanez RG's in the same era), but this is not verified. This guitar is part of Yamaha's RGZ/RGX family of guitars and was made to compete with other Super Strats of the era made by Ibanez, Jackson, Charvel, and Kramer. Overall the guitar's neck and frets are in amazing condition, and makes this guitar ready to play. There are some cosmetic wear on the body so please read the description and inspect the pictures. This guitar is a great example of a 80's guitar with Yamaha's usual superb attention to design and function. Works great as a shred machine or a versatile super strat. At Kuroko Guitars, we do out best to clean up the instrument, set up the instrument with proper action and intonation, and ship with proper packaging. The guitar will be strung up with a new set of Ernie Ball Slinky 10's and will be ready to rock with its new owner. Please check out the detailed description below and let us know if you have any questions. Frets Frets are in amazing condition with 90 - 100% left. Fret height is 1.4mm - 1.5mm, fret width is 2.8mm (jumbo frets). They have not seen much play at all ! Neck Neck is flat and thin as a 80's shredder guitar should be, but it isn't insanely thin like a Ibanez Wizard profile. 20.5mm neck depth at first fret, and 22.6mm neck depth at 12th fret. Nut width is 43.3mm. Neck radius is 350mm or 13.7 inches. 24 frets. 25.5 inch scale length. Maple neck with finished maple fretboard. In amazing condition without much wear if any. Truss Rod and Action The truss rod has been adjusted to give the guitar proper relief of 0.01 inches. It has been loosened 45 degrees, and has 90 more degrees until it is loosened all the way. Truss rod can tighten w
