Seller's description

Fender Nation!! Step on up.. got another one WAY worthy of adding to the arsenal. Cool thing about this jewel is it works for BOTH the the Live Players or Collectors arsenal….cause this one is CLEAN!! I mean fresh for a bass that’s is OVER 50 years old!! oh so very sweet and Fender’y.. just like we like em.Hangs over the shoulder nice and even.. not neck heavy or uneven. Weighs in at a back friendly 8.4lbs. Frets are still very good, action is nice and on the lower side (tons of room for adjustment) with no fret outs or buzzing..very comfortable. This is a late 73 based on serial number. However 74 was the 1st “official“ cataloged year Fender used Mocha. That being said.. even being Poly, it’s thin and looks GREAT! Some normal play wear and signs of being used.. but still looks amazing and retains tons of stage and collection appeal. This Bass is all original with the exception of two Allparts CTS 250k pots from the early 80’s.YES.. it retains the original thumb rest and pickup/bridge covers. The Case is period correct.. tons of character and use. The bottom end is damaged but taped well. Serves its purpose and looks cool as all get out. This one will make any Fender player or collector happy to add… I mean, just look at it..players, wait till you play and hear it!!Thanks for the interest.
