Seller's description

Modified 1970s Fender Telecaster Thinline semi-hollow body electric guitar, made in USA; Body: 70s HH Thinline body, with control cavity routed to house deluxe spec control layout, refinished in gold, finish with cracking and other imperfections from wear throughout; Neck: 1971 Fender Telecaster Thinline three bolt neck, refinished, scratches and dings, original tuner holes dowelled; Fretboard: maple, refinished; Frets: new; Electrics: working, Fender wide range neck pickup, unknown replacement bridge pickup, potentiometers dating to 1976; Hardware: replacement scratchplate, cut to fit standard Tele bridge, split through centre of guard, 1971 serial neck plate, replacement locking tuners, standard Fender bridge plate straddling bridge pickup cavity, other non-original to model hardware; Case: later Fender hard case; Weight: 3.18kg; Bought in Gardner Houlgate Auction. I had Andy Manner Luthier in Corsham refret it, service the electrics, cut and install a bone nut, replace the weird old tuners and spacer with Sperzel locking tuners, cut a new single-ply black pickguard and set up and install a left hand 6 saddle bridge strung righty to take advantage of the h-h routing to angle the bridge pickup for more even response.  I will include the, vintage right handed bridge and cracked white pickguard with the sale.  Very cool guitar. Lots of mojo.
