Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)The Precision Bass, the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, instantly captivated bassists worldwide. Its brilliance remains unchanged and it continues to be loved even more than half a century after its creation. The shape, originally known as the Original Precision Bass, evolved into the familiar look we see today in the 1950s.This is a Precision Bass manufactured in 1981.The year is determined from the date on the neck pocket (08 27 81) and the stamp on the back of the pickup (19●081).The body is likely Alder, the neck is Maple, and the fretboard is Rosewood. It features the original gray bobbin pickups. While there are some parts changes such as refretting, nut replacement, and pot/capacitor replacement, the playability remains excellent. This bass boasts a powerful and tight mid-low range and a pleasantly bright attack. We confidently recommend this bass to anyone seeking a highly practical vintage Precision Bass.Fret life is approximately 60%.The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition. The body and paintwork show some minor scratches and dents. There is a large paint crack on the back of the body. Some rust and tarnish are visible on the metal parts. The electronics are in good condition. The nut has been replaced. It appears to have been refretted. The pots and capacitors have been replaced.Controls: Volume, ToneNut Width: 41.5mmBridge String Spacing: 19.0mmScale Length: 34 InchYear of Manufacture: 1981Country of Manufacture: USAThis instrument will be delivered after being adjusted for easy playability by a GIB craftsman. This is a consignment item, so shipping costs may differ from the usual.Accessories: Original hardshell caseText: Mizune IshikawaInspection 담당: OshimaProduct Photos: MiuraGIB 3-Month Warranty Included◯GIB, TONIQ Warranty Information●Life
