The Gibson Custom 1964 ES-335 Reissue VOS captures a classic era of Gibson’s semi-hollow design with sharp cutaway horns, small block inlays, and a comfortable ’64 Medium C neck. Its maple/poplar/maple body and solid maple centerblock deliver airy resonance with focused sustain, while unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups offer warmth, clarity, and touch-sensitive response. The Sixties Cherry VOS finish adds a gently aged patina. Specs: 3-ply maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body with solid maple centerblock; single-ply royalite binding; solid mahogany neck with authentic ’64 medium c profile and long-tenon hide-glue joint; Indian rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius; 22 authentic medium-jumbo frets; small block cellulose nitrate inlays; 24.75" scale length; 1.69" nylon nut; abr-1 bridge with nylon saddles; lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece; kluson single-line double-ring tuners; nickel hardware; black five-ply wide-bevel pickguard. Nitrocellulose lacquer Sixties Cherry finish with VOS vintage patina. Gibson Custom Shpp hardshell case, COA and case candy included. Weight: 7 lbs 10 oz. Electronics: Unpotted Custombucker Alnico III neck and bridge humbuckers. Individual volume and tone controls.
