This is a super cool 1980 Tokai Reborn Old LS-50 that plays and sounds great! This model existed for only a brief period of time between Tpkai's original "Les Paul Reborn" and famed "Love Rock" models. This example is actually very lightweight at just under 8 pounds and has a chunkier '50s style neck profile.  This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents, and finish chips throughout the body, particularly along the sides. There's also additional scratches and dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The binding around the guitar has yellowed and started to chip from over time and the hardware also shows plenty of tarnish. Despite the cosmetic wear, there have been no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The frets do show some wear as shown from the many years of play but still play great. All of the electronics work as they should.  This guitar currently sports period correct Tokai PAF pickups that are not original to this guitar. The electronics were recently serviced with newer pots, caps, and a 3-way toggle switch. The pickguard, knobs, and a few screws appear to be later replacements. This guitar otherwise is original.  Includes the pictured gig bag.
