Seller's description

Tokai Gakki, a long-established manufacturer of Japanese guitars.Older models are now highly regarded as vintage instruments, and the craftsmanship of the artisans—who have carried on the same instrument-making traditions as in the past—continues to produce exceptional instruments to this day.The SEB series, featuring a unique body structure, and the highly popular Special Type are now in stock!!In addition to the standard specifications shared by all domestic models—such as the high-precision hide-glued neck, a tradition that continues unbroken to this day—the SEB structure, which combines wood using a unique method, achieves a perfect balance between the traditional resonance of the wood and a sense of originality. In standard guitars, wood is typically used with the grain running vertically, but this allows string vibrations transmitted from the bridge to easily escape up and down the body along the grain direction. The SEB structure employs a three-layer body design, with the middle layer oriented perpendicular to the bridge. This ensures that vibrations from the top wood are effectively transmitted all the way to the back of the body.Simply changing the grain direction alone makes it difficult for the neck’s resonance to transmit and allows vibrations to escape into the back; however, the three-layer structure causes vibrations to reflect within the body, resulting in a deeper resonance.Combining the rich sustain and depth characteristic of set-neck guitars with the crisp clarity of single-coil pickups, plus the resonance of the SEB structure, this guitar possesses a unique presence and natural tone. From deep, clean tones to hard-driving sounds, it offers excellent playability with outstanding projection and a pleasant, ear-friendly tone. Its meticulous craftsmanship also contributes to its playability, making it a high-quality instrument that we can confidently recommend not only to advanced players but also to beginners!!SpecBODY：Mahogany Top Cross Cut Mahogany
