Seller's description

The Next Generation 712ce pairs Taylor's compact Grand Concert body with a solid Western Red cedar top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, giving it a warm, sweet voice with rich overtone bloom and a clear, balanced response. The smaller body size makes it especially comfortable in the lap, while the cedar and rosewood combination gives it a dynamic, expressive feel that works beautifully for fingerstyle, light strumming, and players who want a more intimate acoustic voice. Taylor's Next Generation updates bring a lot of modern refinement to this 700 Series model. Scalloped V-Class bracing adds low-end presence, volume, and sustain, while the Action Control Neck allows for quick, precise action adjustment without taking the guitar apart. The Venetian cutaway keeps the upper register easily accessible, and the Claria Acoustic Pickup System gives the 712ce a clean, natural amplified sound when it's time to plug in. Visually, this model keeps things elegant with a natural full-body gloss finish, white binding, black/white/black top edge trim, a green abalone rosette, Reflections peghead and fingerboard inlays, gold Taylor tuners, abalone-dotted ebony bridge pins, and a faux tortoise pickguard. Specs: Grand Concert body; solid Western Red cedar top; solid Indian rosewood back and sides; neo-tropical mahogany neck with Standard Carve profile and Action Control Neck; West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard; 24-7/8" scale length; 1-3/4" nut width; scalloped V-Class bracing with relief rout; Venetian cutaway; West African Crelicam ebony bridge; black Tusq nut; white Micarta saddle; West African Crelicam ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots; Taylor gold tuners with gold buttons; green abalone Reflections fingerboard and peghead inlays; green abalone rosette; white binding. Natural full-body gloss finish with satin neck. Brown Taylor Deluxe hardshell case. Electronics: Taylor Claria™ pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume, tone, and mid-contour controls.
