Seller's description

The Next Generation 512ce brings a fresh evolution to one of Taylor's most beloved Grand Concert models. Designed for players who appreciate exceptional comfort and a warm, articulate voice, this American-made acoustic-electric pairs a solid Western Red cedar top with solid neo-tropical mahogany back and sides for a rich, woody character that responds effortlessly to both a light touch and a more aggressive attack. Whether you're fingerpicking intricate passages or laying down rhythmic accompaniment, the compact Grand Concert body delivers remarkable balance and clarity. As part of Taylor's Next Generation lineup, the 512ce features several important innovations that elevate both tone and playability. Scalloped V-Class bracing produces greater warmth, sustain, and dynamic range while maintaining outstanding note-to-note definition. Taylor's new Action Control Neck makes neck angle adjustments quicker and more precise than ever, helping ensure optimal playability throughout the life of the instrument. The addition of the new Claria™ pickup system provides an exceptionally natural amplified sound, making this guitar equally at home on stage, in the studio, or around the house. Elegant appointments complete the package, including a genuine ebony fingerboard and bridge, firestripe pickguard, faux pearl Meridian inlays, and a gloss-finished body that highlights the natural beauty of the tonewoods. With its comfortable size, refined craftsmanship, and expressive tonal character, the Next Generation 512ce is an outstanding choice for players looking for a premium acoustic that excels in virtually any musical setting.  Specs: Grand Concert body; solid Western Red cedar top; solid neo-tropical mahogany back and sides; neo-tropical mahogany neck with Standard Carve profile and Action Control Neck; West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard; 24-7/8" scale length; 1-3/4" nut width; 20 frets; scalloped V-Class bracing with relief rout; Venetian cutaway; West African Crelicam eb
