Seller's description

"A guitar for beginners and seasoned players alike, I think it's a great finger picking instrument. With a full scale length but a smaller body, and a beveled armrest you can only find on a builders edition." - Ian, Taylor Guitars Expert at Rudy's Music From Taylor Guitar’s Website: "Our Academy 12e starts with a beautifully contoured Grand Concert body and adds performance-enhancing appointments (including an armrest) that are sure to satisfy everyone from the beginning guitarist to the most seasoned veteran.  A solid spruce top paired with layered Sapele sides and back and Taylor ingenuity ensures the Academy 12 is neither short on tone or comfort, and our ES-B electronics expands use to amplified and recording applications alike."   Specs: Scale Length: 24-7/8" Nut & Saddle: Nubone Nut/Micarta Saddle Bracing: Academy Series Truss Rod Cover: Black Plastic Number of Frets: 20 Tuners: Chrome (100/200) Case: Gig Bag Brand of Strings: Elixir Phosphor Bronze Light Body Length: 19 1/2" Body Width: 15" Body Depth: 4 3/8" Binding/Edge Treatment: Black Top Finish: Varnish Back Config: Layered Rosette Size: Three Ring Back/Side Finish: Varnish Rosette Mat.: Baltic Birch Armrest: yes Neck Width: 1-11/16" Fretboard Inlay: 4mm Dot Italian Acrylic Heel Cap Binding: Black Type of Neck Joint: Taylor Neck Neck/Heel: Hard Rock Maple Fretboard Wood: West African Crelicam Ebony Neck Finish: Varnish Heel Length: 3-1/2" Peghead Type: Standard Headstock Overlay: Copafera Peghead Logo: Printed on Headstock Overlay Bridge Pins: Black Buttons: Chrome
