This is the Taylor 'Next Generation' 324ce Grand Auditorium! The Next Generation Taylor models feature three stellar additions to classic Taylor guitars; a Long-Tenon Action Control Neck previously only available on Gold Label Collection instruments, scalloped V-Class bracing giving you a warmer low-end and richer open-string resonance, and new Claria electronics! Developed with extensive input from touring artists and live sound engineers, Taylor’s new Claria System reimagines the under-saddle piezo pickup to deliver consistent plug-and-play acoustic tone in any setting. A proprietary preamp tames the harshness of traditional piezos and incorporates soundhole-mounted controls: Volume, Tone and a versatile Mid-Contour knob. The result is consistent, stage- ready tone that’s easy to shape for any setting — from solo café gigs to large-venue performances. The 324ce Grand Auditorium swaps out the sitka spruce top of a 314ce for a mahogany top. The mahogany is a denser hardwood to bring a natural compression and midrange bump to the Grand Auditorium body. The new scalloped V-Class bracing and long neck tenon add in extra warmth to the side that balances nicely with the clear treble of sapele back and sides. Cosmetics on the 324ce are a shaded edgeburst finish with a white rosette and matching top purfling. For the hardware, we have satin black Taylor tuners and matching buttons.
