The Next Generation Taylor models feature three stellar additions to classic Taylor guitars; a Long-Tenon Action Control Neck previously only available on Gold Label Collection instruments, scalloped V-Class bracing giving you a warmer low-end and richer open-string resonance, and new Claria electronics! Developed with extensive input from touring artists and live sound engineers, Taylor’s new Claria System reimagines the under-saddle piezo pickup to deliver consistent plug-and-play acoustic tone in any setting. A proprietary preamp tames the harshness of traditional piezos and incorporates soundhole-mounted controls: Volume, Tone and a versatile Mid-Contour knob. The result is consistent, stage- ready tone that’s easy to shape for any setting — from solo café gigs to large-venue performances. The 314ce Grand Auditorium features a sitka spruce top with mahogany for the back and sides. The mahogany is a dense hardwood that brings a natural compression and midrange bump to the Grand Auditorium body. Consistently a Taylor top seller, the 314ce delivers a signature Taylor experience, combining articulate, balanced tone with inviting playability. Now that playing experience is bolstered by the new voicing, neck and pickup designs.
