The Silver Series represented Fender's response to the rising  tide of Korean-built budget guitars in the early '90s, and Fender  deliberately leaned on Fujigen's renowned craftsmanship to keep the  Squier name aligned with Japanese build quality. Of all the late-MIJ Squier production, the SST-33 in 3-Tone Sunburst with  a rosewood fingerboard is one of the more sought-after configurations -  classic Strat looks, vintage 7.25" radius, and a comfortable C-shape  neck profile that echoes the early '60s feel. Production ended in 1995- 1996 when Squier shifted entirely overseas, making clean Fujigen-built  examples increasingly difficult to find in good condition. == SPECIFICATIONS == - Model: SST-33 Silver Series Stratocaster - Year: 1993-1994 - Serial: O 024834 - Country of Origin: Japan (Fujigen Gakki) - Color: 3-Tone Sunburst - Neck: Maple, bolt-on - Fingerboard: Rosewood, 21 frets, 7.25" radius - Scale: 25.5" (648mm) - Pickups: Three Japanese single-coil pickups (ceramic, flat poles) - Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1, Tone 2 - Switching: 5-position blade - Bridge: Vintage-style synchronized tremolo - Tuners: Gotoh - Weight: 3.85 kg == CONDITION == Overall: Very Good -
