Seller's description

The second of a pair of Soldano Decatone 100-watt valve head from the collection of Martin Barre, legendary guitarist of Jethro Tull. Sharing the same exceptional provenance, this amplifier formed part of Martin's professional rig and offers the same renowned Soldano performance. The Decatone is one of Soldano's most versatile amplifiers, featuring three independent channels capable of delivering everything from sparkling cleans and dynamic edge-of-breakup tones through to rich overdrive and the high-gain lead sounds for which the brand is best known. Its responsive feel, harmonic complexity and impressive clarity have made it a favourite amongst professional players. Producing 100 watts of all-valve power, the Decatone has the headroom and authority for demanding live work while remaining equally at home in the studio. Its flexible layout allows each channel to be tailored independently, making it an exceptionally adaptable amplifier across a wide range of musical styles. Having previously belonged to Martin Barre, this example carries a provenance that elevates it beyond an already highly regarded amplifier. A fantastic opportunity to acquire a professional-grade Soldano with a direct connection to one of the all-time Rock greats!
