Seller's description

The American Jazz Bass features a wide range of sound variations thanks to its S-1 switch! This Fender USA American Series Jazz Bass preserves the traditional style while offering a wide range of sound-shaping options thanks to the S-1 switch located on the neck-side volume knob. In the standard position, it delivers the clear, crisp parallel-wired sound characteristic of the Jazz Bass; pressing the switch engages a series connection between the two pickups, switching to a powerful sound with increased volume and a richer, fuller low-to-midrange.From classic Jazz Bass tones to bold, full-bodied bass sounds, this highly versatile instrument is suitable for a wide range of genres and playing styles. There are signs of wear, such as scratches, dents, and discoloration on some parts. There is a gap visible at the junction between the control panel and the pickguard, so the pickguard may have been replaced. The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
